Kässbohrer doubles sales in Germany in 2014

According to vehicle registrations data provided by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), Kässbohrer’s semi-trailer sales in Germany almost doubled in 2014, increasing by a hefty 96.4 percent. The German semi-trailer market expanded by 12.9 percent in the mentioned period.

REINFORCES WORKFORCE IN GOCH 

According to vehicle registrations data provided by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), Kässbohrer’s semi-trailer sales in Germany almost doubled in 2014, increasing by a hefty 96.4 percent. The German semi-trailer market expanded by 12.9 percent in the mentioned period. 

The most striking increase in Kässbohrer’s sales in 2014 was witnessed in tank and silo segment, where the company raised its sales by 135 percent. In the meantime, Kässbohrer low-bed sales doubled in the same period, both on year-on-year basis. The company had increased its tank and silo production capacity over 40 percent last year to meet higher market demand and had introduced hydraulic steering system in its low-bed semi-trailers in February 2014.

Commenting on the very positive results taken in Kässbohrer’s sales, the company’s Business Development Executive Board Member İffet Türken explained, “Our success is built on our successful partnerships, as our vision deepens further while creating solutions for our business partners. We took every necessary step in 2014 to boost our sales performance, the most important one being the 58 percent increase in our workforce in Goch production and disposition center for Western Europe.” 

“We have completed our plans to shift up our sales further in 2015,” Ms. Türken added.
