Kässbohrer welcomes Dutch automotive delegation

Europe’s leading trailer manufacturer Kässbohrer hosted a Dutch Automotive Delegation at its production facility in Adapazari/Turkey.

Europe’s leading trailer manufacturer Kässbohrer hosted a Dutch Automotive Delegation at its production facility in Adapazari/Turkey. 

Under the supervision of Fier Automotive, important Dutch companies such as Wagenbouw Hapert, Kraker Trailer, Brainport, Automotive NL and Viro Engineering visited Kässbohrer for further exchange of information and experience. 

Fier Automotive organized these meetings on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation of the Netherlands to deepen the cooperation and the knowledge base regarding the operations conducted in the emerging markets. 

During the visit, Kässbohrer shared its market experience in the emerging markets, as well as production planning technology and processes enabling Kässbohrer to provide customized transport solutions according to the customers need in more than 51 countries. 

Furthermore, the delegation had the opportunity to observe lean management practices of Kässbohrer and has been informed how Kässbohrer transferred its lean philosophy to the emerging markets such as Russia. 

The 120 year old Kässbohrer, member of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), is the leading European manufacturer for semi-trailers with the widest product range to serve the right transportation solutions to every need. 

Kässbohrer’s production plants are located in Adapazari/Turkey and in Goch/Germany. By the end of 2012, Kässbohrer started operations at its production facility in Yasnogorsk-Tula/Russia, which will act as a hub for its customers in Russia and Central Asia.
