Kässbohrer and Mielke’s Partnership Continues
Leading semi-trailer manufacturer Kässbohrer continues to strengthen the fleet of leading transport companies. Recently, Germany’s Mielke Logistics added new Kässbohrer Low Beds into its fleet.
Founded in 1997, Mielke Logistik GmbH is a Europe-wide transport and service company with a focus on Germany - Switzerland - Benelux countries and Great Britain.
Mr.Christof Mielke, Owner and Founder of Mielke Logistik GmbH, and Mr. Vincent Koel, Manager Region Northern Germany at Kässbohrer, shared their thoughts about this partnership.
“As Mielke, we already operate with Kässbohrer platform K.SPS 3 and are satisfied with their performance and robustness.
As a result of our experience, we have decided to add Kässbohrer Low Bed K.SLL 2 into our fleet.
We are sure that our partnership with Kässbohrer will continue.” stated Mr. Mielke.
Kässbohrer’s North Germany Region Manager Vincent Koel stated: “As Kässbohrer, we offer the complete construction product portfolio with silo, tipper, platform and low-bed semi-trailer product ranges.
Our 2 axle Low-Bed K.SLL 2 has the lowest loading height with the ground clearance of just 100 mm and provides the maximum height on heavy-haulage transportation.
With the special pool length of 6.810 mm, extension of 5.550 mm and king-pin capacity of up to 24 ton, K.SLL 2 enables flexible transportation of tall and heavy goods.
The vehicle is equipped with hydraulic axles of 12 ton capacity each with a turning angle of 42° to provide maximum maneuverability under the toughest road conditions.
To shorten the time needed for loading operations, K.SLL 2 is offered with a detachable gooseneck which ensures easier loading operation.
Our vehicle is equipped with several options, such as a central lubrication unit to reduce maintenance requirements, partial metallization to prolong the vehicle’s lifetime and Double driving height adjustable by ECAS control unit to set the trailer to the correct ride height under any condition.
