Amerang, Germany-based heavy and special transport service provider Reiser Schwertransport GmbH received its Kässbohrer 8-axle hydraulic low-bed, K.SLH 8, on March 5, 2015. The delivery took place at Kässbohrer Fahrzeugwerke GmbH in Goch, Germany.

The cooperation between the two parties became possible as the expectations of the project transportation expert Reiser Schwertransport coupled with Kässbohrer’s expertise in the low-bed semi-trailer engineering.

With a transport capacity of 130 tons, the Kässbohrer 8 axle low-bed with hydraulic steering system, K.SLH 8, is engineered for all types of heavy duty transportation. Designed with 34 tons gooseneck capacity and hydraulic suspension system, K.SLH 8 offers effective and secure load distribution. The hydraulic steering axles provide maximum maneuverability, especially at narrow and difficult curves while prolonging tire life and performance. Extending up to 18 meter, K.SLH 8 is the perfect solution for extreme heavy duty transportation.

The president of Reiser Schwertransport, Stephan Reiser stated that he was quite impressed during his visit at Kässbohrer’s production facilities, witnessing the potential of the company.

“One of my friends running a transportation company has several Kässbohrer low-beds in their fleet and they are pretty satisfied about the products. Upon this reference I contacted with an experienced Kässbohrer sales member who oriented me to right solutions,” Mr. Reiser said.

Reiser Schwertransport is running a modern fleet to conduct nationwide transportation, as well as from Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Czech Republic and Poland. The company is holding permanent permissions for transporting loads with exceptional dimensions and weights.
